Westminster Dog Show 2021

Westminster Dog Show 2021: Beginning Saturday, thousands of dogs from all 50 states and 10 countries hit the green carpet for the 145th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Events will be airing on FOX, FS1, FS2, streaming on the Fox Now App and Fox Sports App.

The 2021 Westminster Dog Show will be broadcast nationally on Fox, Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2. Live TV coverage will begin at 1 p.m. ET Saturday on FS2 and will run until 4:30 p.m. ET. FS1’s coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET and will run through 11 p.m. ET. The earlier coverage will be comprised of breed judging while the group judging for the hound, toy, non-sporting, and herding groups will occur during the evening.

The 145th Westminster Dog Show is set to take place over the weekend, with most of the events occurring on Saturday and Sunday, including the crowning of the prestigious “Best in Show” award.

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is the second oldest continuous sporting event in the United States, after the Kentucky Derby. It is also the longest nationally televised live dog show, according to the Westminster Kennel Club.

Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event will move to Lyndhurst in Tarrytown, New York and be held outdoors. It marks one of the only times in the event’s history that it will not be held in the Madison Square Garden.

As has been the case since 2017, Fox Sports owns the broadcast rights to the dog show. As a result, Fox and its affiliates will broadcast the event with FS1 being the primary location for the broadcast and the Fox Sports app containing all of the streamable content.

Here’s a guide to everything you need to know about the 145th Westminster Dog Show, including a full TV schedule and a history of previous winners. Stay tuned this weekend for Sporting News’ live updates and results from the main event on Sunday.
